Matt Zaddy: What Comes Around
Matt Zaddy has released a live acoustic version of his latest single 'What Comes Around'. The acoustic video just hit over 100k views on YouTube, and the song and is a semifinalist in the 2023 International Songwriting Competition.
The video was filmed live at the Living Arts Centre in Mississauga. Matt's thoughts on the video shoot: "We were filming the official video and somehow finished early. We all looked at each other and said 'Let's do a live acoustic video!' and we finished it in less than half an hr. I love the feeling of live videos, because you really get insight into an artist that you don't get in official videos. I think my favourite part is right at the end of the song I may a 'woot' sound haha!"
Described by Matt as 'a song about the struggle to do what you love, with hope on the horizon,' the official song has been added to 370 Spotify Playlists, has over 165,000 YouTube combined views between the official and live acoustic video, was a 2023 Unsigned Only Competition Semifinalist, and has received radio play in 10 countries.
